Share The Love Initiative Makes a Meaningful Impact in Jamaica

That’s the heart of Share The Love, an ongoing initiative from The Excellence Collection that invites guests to turn a meaningful getaway into something even more impactful.

At its core, Share The Love is about connection. It’s about extending the warmth of a vacation experience beyond the resort and into the communities that make each destination so special. Through simple acts of generosity, guests help deliver smiles, encouragement, and essential items to children across the Caribbean, while becoming part of something truly meaningful.

A Program Rooted in Purpose

The Excellence Collection is known for its elevated service and thoughtfully curated experiences, but that same care extends far beyond our resorts. Share The Love is one of the ways our commitment to corporate social responsibility comes to life, supported by the passion and dedication of our teams and guests.

Through this program, we invite guests visiting any of The Excellence Collection properties to bring donations that directly benefit children in local communities near each resort destination. These gifts, chosen with care by our guests, are later distributed to children who need them most, creating moments of joy that last far beyond a single visit.

A Recent Moment of Impact in Jamaica

Most recently, Share The Love took on special significance in Falmouth, Jamaica, following Hurricane Melissa. In response to the challenges faced by the local community, guests across the Caribbean came together with an outpouring of generosity, bringing gifts for local Jamaican children, and each was one matched by a $100 USD donation from The Excellence Collection. Through these donated gifts and contributions, the initiative supported recovery efforts at Falmouth Public General Hospital, while also delivering toys, school supplies, and essential items to children in need.

Donations were made through We Care Falmouth Public General Hospital (FPGH) Limited, a charitable organization supporting the hospital’s long-term recovery. Hospital leadership publicly acknowledged the impact of this support, noting that it sent a powerful message of solidarity during a difficult time.

Domingo Aznar, Deputy CEO of The Excellence Collection, highlighted the role guests played in the initiative’s success.

While this special initiative concluded at the end of 2025, the spirit behind it continues every day through the ongoing Share The Love program.

How to Participate

Joining the Share The Love program is easy and heartfelt. When preparing for your trip, simply bring along items such as toys, soccer balls, plush toys, games, puzzles, clothing in good condition, or school supplies. Donations can be suitable for children ranging from toddlers to teens up to 15 years old.

Once you arrive, our front desk or concierge team will be happy to assist you. Guests are invited to take a photo alongside our staff when delivering their donation, then share that moment on our official Facebook page using the hashtag #ShareTheLove. As a thank you, participating guests receive a $100 USD gift card to be redeemed toward a future reservation.
